Diana Chao

Researcher, NASA Jet Propulsion Lab

Diana Chao uses tech to improve Mental Health. 


She is the founder of Letters to Strangers, the largest global youth-for-youth mental health nonprofit, exchanging more than 60,000 letters and impacting more than half a million people in over 70 countries in the past 10 years.

She is a youth voice in the United Nations intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, has dug for green sauropod bones with the US Dinosaur Institute, and is passionate Astro -physicist who has worked with NASA.

Start-up Executive of the Year

Amanda uses tech to promote well-being & community.


Amanda is a globally recognised AI technologist and technology communicator.

She created an award-winning app which uses a AI check-in tool to promote wellbeing in over 87 countries.


TIME have awarded her as a Next Generation Leader for her work in social impact technology and The CEO Magazine awarded her as Start-up Executive of the Year.

Alexia uses tech to fight for gender equality.


Alexia is the founder of GirlBoss NZ. Founded when Alexia was just 16, GirlBoss NZ now has 17,500 members.


She has flown with NASA and is the youngest person to represent New Zealand at the United Nations in New York. She was named Pacific Young Entrepreneur of the Year.


She studied Leadership for Change at the University of Cambridge and holds a Masters in Emerging Technologies.
