Join us for the Tūrama Internship at Spark.
This is a paid, 8-week, in-person internship where you’ll step inside Spark stores and Spark HQ to gain real-world experience, build confidence, and see what a future in tech and customer-facing roles can actually look like.
You will gain real-world experience and be supported by mentors who genuinely want to see you succeed. (win: win!)
You will join a cohort of fellow amazing GirlBoss interns where you can learn, ask questions, try new things, and be fully yourself.

What to Expect
A Paid, Real-World Internship:
This is an 8-week paid programme where you’ll learn by doing. You’ll be on-site three days a week, gaining hands-on experience across Spark’s stores and Head Office.
Your Weekly Rhythm:
• Tuesday (9:00 am - 3:00 pm): Spark City (Head Office, Auckland CBD)
• Wednesday & Thursday (9:00 am - 3:00 pm): a Spark retail store
The internship runs three days a week, allowing flexibility around other commitments.
Some light reflection work may be completed at home.
Mentorship & Support:
You won’t be doing this alone. You’ll be supported by Spark mentors, your fellow GirlBoss Interns, and the GirlBoss team.
Build Skills:
Develop both personal and professional skills, from communication and confidence to understanding pathways into tech and customer-focused roles. No previous experience necessary!
Who Should Apply?
You! A young woman aged 18 to 24
This paid internship is designed for those who want real-world experience, structured support, and a genuine pathway into future work: particularly within Spark and the wider tech space.
No previous experience required.
Just curiosity, commitment, an interest in tech, and a willingness to learn.
This is a paid role for 8 weeks. Where possible, we aim to support interns into paid roles at Spark after the programme.
