GirlBoss NZ is excited to launch GirlBoss Connect a half day accelerator programme for young women who are defying stereotypes and making a difference.
Powered by the Ministry of Primary Industries this summit is facilitated by GirlBoss NZ Founder , Alexia Hilbertidou.
Only 2% of NZ’s top CEO’s are women - we’re changing that!
Young women do not have to wait for permission to live a life of purpose and fulfilment. We will equip them with the skills and confidence to live their passions now. Based on research from NZ’s top recruiters we show students how they can win scholarships, gain internships, and create an online presence which bolsters their career success. New found skills will be practised in real life networking situations giving them the confidence they need to lead and change the world!
No RAMS required - we come to your school!
We decorate the space and create a conference like environment with stickers, badges, lollies and chocolate and we promise a fun and interactive session.
This summit is FREE thanks to sponsorship by the Ministry for Primary Industries.
Alexia is just 20-years-old yet her vision to inspire young women has led her to a level of influence well beyond her years. Alexia’s passion for STEM and entrepreneurship led her to create GirlBoss New Zealand at just 16 years old. In just 4 years, GirlBoss has gained 13,500 members across the country. Alexia’s passion for future-focused education is why she was named the most influential woman under the age of 25 at the 2016 Westpac Women of Influence Awards, a Top 30 Global Teen Leader, and received a 2018 Queens Young Leader Award for Services to the Commonwealth. She is the youngest Commonwealth Citizen to hold this honour.
